The general public is invited to attend this information packed session tailored made for kids as young as 12.
The 90 minute presentation includes:
- Multi-media presentation on sex trafficking and demand.
- Presentation of the trafficking prevention documentary, "Chosen" (you can check out the trailer below!)
- Question & Answer Session with local experts that are working on the front-lines.
"Chosen," a 20-minute film, tells the shocking true story of two "all-American" teenage girls deceived into trafficking. Eighteen-year-old Brianna was an honor-roll student and cheerleader and worked at a local café. Thirteen-year-old Lacy was an active member of her youth group, and a volunteer in her community. Also available in spanish as "Elegios"
This awareness event is part of the Life of Freedom Center's 3-fold strategy to combat sex trafficking with love. Step 1 is to protect children by spreading awareness through these free community based events. Steps 2 & 3 include conducting outreach to recognize and respond to sex trafficking and to increase opportunities for healing.
